Fairfield Road site

The Fairfield Road site was first occupied in May 1963. Designed by architects, Philip R. Middleton and Partner and built at a cost of £150,000 by Marsh Builders (Stockton) Ltd.It was formally opened on 11 October 1963 by Dr. Donald Coggan, the then Archbishop of York and was under the headship of
Mr. F.W. Cain B.A. Hons. (London).

Mosaic

A view of the mosaic on the East front of the chapel which is at the head of the Robson Memorial Hall. The mosaic was designed and executed by Miss J. M. Haswell of Middlesbrough and depicts the upsurge of the Holy Spirit. The main hall of the school bears the following carved inscription:

THE ROBSON MEMORIAL HALL

In Memory of his brother C.M. Robson, R.N., who
was killed in action on 11th November, 1943,
Lawrence W. Robson made a major contribution to
the erection of this school.
